When many people thing of prefab housing, their minds automatically go to seventies-style ranch homes with terrible carpet in cookie cutter neighborhoods. Now, though, prefab housing can actually be quite beautiful and hip looking. There are lots of advantages to prefab modern housing, but also a few things that you need to consider.
One of the things about this type of housing is that it isn’t as customizable as building a house from scratch. You don’t get to choose where to put certain rooms or what shape your living room will be. This is because the walls from your home are coming from a factory that is only tooled to build prefabricated walls for certain home plans. However, this isn’t always a disadvantage.
